Most people who call us have already collected two or three quotes that don’t match, and can’t tell which one is wrong. Here’s how we work instead.
Why quotes don’t match
Three companies price three different buildings against the same description. The numbers can’t be compared, and the cheapest one is usually the one missing something.
Different structural systems solve different problems, and they don’t cost the same. A quote that doesn’t say what it’s built around, what the frame carries, or what’s included in the package isn’t really a quote. It’s a number.
Our job is to work out what the building actually has to do, design it once, and tell you why. If a smaller or cheaper approach serves you better, that’s the recommendation you’ll get.
How a project runs
One advisor owns the project from the first call. A few other people join at specific points, and each of them comes to you already knowing what you’re building.

What goes inside, how you’ll get things in and out, what the site is like, and what the building has to do in ten years. Nobody expects you to know what a boxed eave is.

A design and an estimate
One recommendation and the reasoning behind it, engineered for the wind and snow conditions at your address rather than a generic load table.
Before you sign
Every detail gets checked
Our order desk goes back through the dimensions, openings, and colors with you before anything is signed or paid. It’s the last chance to catch something, and it’s worth taking.
From there your advisor stays with the project through drawings, revisions, scheduling, and delivery. On tubular buildings you’ll also hear directly from the factory to coordinate the install. You won’t be starting over with anyone.
The building you envisioned is the one that should show up on your site. Checking the details twice is how that happens.
We think in total project cost
The frame is one line item alongside concrete, doors, insulation, finish work, and anything that has to be corrected later. A design that saves money on steel can cost more everywhere else.
So we’ll regularly recommend spending more in one place to spend less overall. Deeper legs that return usable floor area. House wrap that keeps a window from being revisited. Neither is the cheapest way to order a building. Both are the cheaper way to own one.
We’ll also tell you when a smaller or simpler building is the right one, which happens more often than people expect.
Why we know the permitting
Before starting this company, Justin Quinn was a code inspection tech for the City of Bolivar. He’s worked in construction and construction management most of his life, and he holds a property and casualty insurance license.
That’s why this site carries permit thresholds, adopted code years, and risk category detail town by town instead of a page that says we handle everything. He’s sat on the other side of the counter, reading plans and telling people what would and wouldn’t pass.
It shows up in practical ways. Knowing a county is still on a 2012 code cycle while the city inside it runs 2018. Knowing that a generic engineering package satisfies a full engineering requirement, so you don’t pay twice for something you already have. Knowing that a utility line too close to a building pad will hold up a permit long after the steel’s been ordered.
None of that’s exotic. It’s the difference between someone who’s done this work and someone reading a spec sheet.
What we handle, and what we don’t
We design your building, place and administer the order, and coordinate the engineering and the trades around it. That’s the work, and it’s most of what determines whether a project goes smoothly.
We don’t manufacture the building, pour your concrete, or erect your structure. Those are done by people who do them every day, and we’d rather coordinate good ones than pretend to be all of them.
Engineering
Your building has to be engineered for the wind, snow, and seismic conditions at your address, and in a lot of jurisdictions it needs sealed drawings before anyone will issue a permit. We arrange that as part of the order rather than leaving you to sort out what your county wants.
Concrete
The slab is the second largest number in most of these projects and the place they most often go wrong. Wrong dimensions, wrong thickness, a pad that isn’t square. All of it is expensive afterward and preventable beforehand.
We have concrete contractors we work with across our service area, with current pricing by slab thickness and pad size, so you get a real number during the estimate rather than after you’ve started calling around. We send them the building drawings and specifications, and we stay on the calls and email threads while the project comes together.
You contract with the crew directly and pay them directly. We’re not a general contractor and we don’t supervise their work. What we do is make sure the people pouring your slab and the people building your frame are working from the same set of drawings.
You should know exactly who’s responsible for what before anything gets ordered.
