What people build in San Tan Valley

Neighborhood lots and open acreage sit side by side here, and so do two different governments.

Acreage shops

Unfinished and under sixty feet wide, tubular steel is usually the answer, insulated or not.

RV & boat storage

Settle the door before the footprint. Every two feet of eave above twelve adds roughly five percent to the frame.

Horse barns & hay

Barns, shade and hay storage go up on horse properties. Red iron takes over past eighty feet.

Barndominiums

Steel truss is the fit. Drywall attaches to the frame, so there’s no second wall to build.

See what a steel building costs for real per-square-foot ranges.

Permitting metal buildings in San Tan Valley

Arizona’s newest town

  • The Pinal County Board of Supervisors approved incorporation on September 17, 2025.
  • The county provided services inside the new town through June 30, 2026, and the Town has been taking them over since.

Outside town limits

  • The town boundary doesn’t cover the whole San Tan Valley area.
  • Addresses outside it are still unincorporated Pinal County.

Farm & ranch ground

  • State law keeps county zoning off farming, ranching and stock raising.
  • The county sets the process for qualifying, so confirm it before you plan around it.

A San Tan Valley address doesn’t tell you who permits the building. Some addresses are inside the new town and some are still county ground, and permitting is still moving from the county to the Town. We confirm which office reviews your project before drawings are produced.

We also serve Queen Creek, Florence, Coolidge and Johnson Ranch. See Phoenix & the Valley or all of Arizona.
